Another motive in the Samira Frasch case?
When police interviewed Adam they were told that Samira would occasionally let the handymen they hired stay over at their place in the guest room, something that made him uncomfortable. He also told police that Samira would almost flirt with Gerald Gardner, their current handyman, on the phone saying how much she missed him.
Gardner had testified on Samira's behalf at a child custody hearing despite knowing that at times she would get violent with Adam and when off her medication might not be the most fit parent to look after the children. Gardner had seen her coming at her husband and had often pleaded with her not to do that to Doc, as he called Dr. Frasch.
At the trial, prosecutor Georgia Cappleman asked him if he was romantically involved with Samira. He denied any romantic interest, but the question itself is telling. Certainly, it suggested the possibility. And a simple denial from Gardner is not sufficient proof that he didn't have feelings for his beautiful employer.
At the time of the trial, the Tallahassee Democrat reported that, "State prosecutors are trying to block the testimony that Samira Frasch and the man who found her lifeless body were romantically involved."
Adam and Samira were reconciling shortly before her death. Videos and photos on the family's phones show them having a weekend vacation, enjoying the hotel pool and in a restaurant having an amiable meal. The prosecutor ignored all of this. She also ignored that the handyman might not have been pleased that Samira and Adam were reconciling and that Adam was in the process of moving back into the family home.
If Gerald Gardner was being rebuffed by Samira that would have been one more reason why an altercation by the family pool could have ended badly.
There was more to Gardner's story than what came out in the trial. Travesty of Justice: The Dr. Adam Frasch Case goes into greater detail as to how and why the handyman is not only the best suspect in the Samira Frasch murder, he's the only suspect.
